چکیده
This paper presents an expression to compute the exact period of a recursive random number generator based on d-sequences. Using the multi-recursive version of this generator we can produce large number of pseudorandom sequences.

Two Dimensional Random Patterns
A new approach to the generation of random sequences and two dimensional random patterns is proposed in this paper in which random sequences are generated by making use of either Delaunay triangulation or Voronoi diagrams drawn from random points taken in a two dimensional plane. Both the random sequences and two dimensional random patterns generated in this manner are shown to be more random w...
متن کاملA d-Sequence based Recursive Random Number Generator
This paper presents a novel approach to generating binary random numbers using d-sequences. We perform various correlation analyses on the new random number generator and provide a new tool to researchers using which the correlation properties of the random sequences can be controlled as desired.
متن کاملMiddle Square Weyl Sequence RNG
In this article, we propose a new implementation of John von Neumann’s middle square random number generator (RNG). A Weyl sequence is utilized to keep the generator running through a long period.
متن کاملDesign and Realization of an FPGA-Based Generator for Chaotic Frequency Hopping Sequences
Chaos-based pseudonoise (PN) sequences for spread spectrum (SS) communications ranks amongst the most promising applications of chaos to communications. This paper deals with the design and realization of a chaotic frequency hopping (FH) sequence generator that is compatible with current FH/SS technologies. A simplistic generator architecture adopting nonlinear auto-regressive (AR) filter struc...
متن کاملRecursive Random Number Generator Using Prime Reciprocals
illustration, the prime reciprocal of 1/7 is , and the prime reciprocal sequence is considered to be 142857. The period of this sequence is 6. Since the maximum length of the period can be (p-1), this is an example of a maximum-length d-sequence. But a prime reciprocal sequence that is maximum length in one base need not be maximum length in another base. Thus the binary prime reciprocal sequen...
